Elizabeth Carnegie

Mrs Carnegie is in her tenth year as Principal at Stella Maris College. Many thousands of students and their families have been the beneficiaries of Mrs Carnegie’s teaching and leadership expertise over her 40 years as an educator. Her leadership experience spans 25 years in Catholic independent and systemic schools in both the Wollongong and Sydney dioceses.

Ms Carnegie is passionate about student wellbeing in schools and advocates strongly for all girls’ schools.

Ms Carnegie grew up on the Northern Beaches and is a former student of Stella Maris College, graduating in 1978. She holds a Master of Religious Education, Bachelor of Arts (English and Psychology), Graduate Diploma in Education, Graduate Diploma in Media and Diploma of Education.
