The work of our volunteers is a vital part of our community and central to the culture of our school. Every year we have over 300 volunteers who generously give their time, energy and expertise to many aspects of school life. We are extremely grateful for their dedication and selflessness.
How can you get involved?
There are many ways parents and the community can volunteer at Stella, no matter your interests, expertise or availability. Here are just some of the events and activities where our volunteers play a key role:
- Attend school events like dance, music and drama nights and the musicals
- Join the Parents & Friends (P&F) and contribute at meetings
- Become a P&F Year Level representative
- Coordinate or volunteer at P&F events such as the Trivia Night and Sunset Social
- Volunteer for school events such as Open Evening, Year 7 Parent Welcome evening
- Share your career experience at our annual International Women's Day Breakfast or in the classroom
- Provide students with career guidance/support
- Join our set building, painting or sewing crews for school productions
- Help with cataloguing, protecting and indexing school archives and displays
- Volunteer in the Uniform Shop
- Volunteer in the Canteen
