The Senior Years

Students in Years 11 and 12 (Stage 6) may select Board Developed Courses where students follow a syllabus set by New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) and undertake a Higher School Certificate (HSC) exam. They may also elect Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses which contribute to the units required for a HSC and also allows students to gain an industry-recognised qualification.

Stella offers a wide range of academic subjects and some VET courses designed to equip senior students with solid skills for tertiary study as well as empowering students to achieve a well-rounded education in the pursuit of employment or entrepreneurship.

Students learn in purpose-built and designed facilities including a working theatre, Dance and Drama studios, a commercial grade kitchen, Music ensemble and practice rooms, Art and Design workshops and a senior study hub.

The College has a reciprocal partnership with St Augustine's College, Brookvale, to deliver some subjects/courses (Entertainment, Hospitality and Construction) to maximise teacher expertise and provide broader learning opportunities.
