NSWCCC Blues Awards

Congratulations to Pip Q (Year 9) and Piper Simons (Class of 2023) on receiving awards at the prestigious NSWCCC Blues Awards presentations in December 2023.

Pip was awarded a Bar Award for her achievements in Cross Country. This is an amazing achievement, as she is the youngest student to ever receive this award, after having received a Blue in 2022. Pip had another amazing year in both cross country and athletics, winning NSW and Australian gold medals!

Piper was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ Award. Piper has been awarded every level of NSWCCC Blue award in recent years for the sport of Rugby 7’s. She has represented NSW and Australia on many occasions.

Australian All Schools Athletics

Congratulations to Pip Q and Elisabeth P who represented NSW at the Australian All Schools Athletics in Perth in December. Both of the girls had outstanding results!

• Pip won GOLD in the U15 3000m and was 4^th in the 1500m.
• Elisabeth finished 4^th in the U16 discus.

These are amazing results against the best athletes in Australia!

• Broken Bay Touch Football (open and U15) – 27^th February
• CGSSSA Netball – 3^rd April
• Tildesley Tennis: 6^th and 7^th March
• Broken Bay Open Basketball: 21^st March

NSWCCC Representative Sport

Students who have a strong playing history (representative level) are able to nominate to trial for various NSWCCC teams.

(Please note that some sports will be selected through the Broken Bay gala days – such as touch, cross country, soccer, athletics, swimming. Students cannot self-nominate for these sports).
