The cross country season is well and truly underway. The Stella team has been training since Term 1, and they showed that hard work pays off with outstanding results at the IGSA Cross Country Carnival.
It was perfect conditions for running at the IGSA Carnival which was held at Frensham on Friday 16 May. The rain held off and the Stella team enjoyed running on a real cross country course at Frensham. The Stella team had outstanding results, with top four finishes in four age groups – an outstanding result at such a high level event. Some of the age groups had more than 150 competitors!
Congratulations to the following students who finished in the top 12:
Best of luck to the team who will compete at CGSSSA Cross Country this Thursday 29 May.
Pip Q - 3rd in 16 years
Amelia M - 3rd in 14 years

Stella will be entering teams into the Northern NSW Snow Sport Championships. This will be held at Perisher from July 9 – 11. This is appropriate for students who have good experience in skiing and/or snowboarding. Students who wish to enter will need to travel and stay with their family for the event. All students have been sent an email to express interest. Further details will be sent to those students who complete the form.
Term 3 sport registrations will be sent out in the coming weeks. At this stage we are finalising our team registrations for a number of our Term 3 sports.
Expression of interest forms for our Term 3 team sports have been emailed to students. Students wishing to play basketball, soccer or water polo (Year 7) in Term 3 should complete the expression of interest form via the link they were emailed.
