Dear Parents and Carers,
As Term 4 begins, we are invited once again to look forward with hope and gratitude. The final term of the year always carries a sense of anticipation — the excitement of what lies ahead, and the satisfaction of seeing learning, growth, and friendships flourish throughout the year.
In the spirit of our Benedictine tradition, this new term calls us to “listen with the ear of the heart” (Rule of St Benedict, Prologue 1). It is an invitation to approach each day with attentiveness — to see Christ in others, to act with humility and purpose, and to recognise God’s presence in the ordinary moments of school life.
For our students, Term 4 is a time to draw together all they have learned, to persevere in their studies, and to continue contributing generously to the life of the College. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, through creative expression, or in service to others, this is a season to strive for excellence and give thanks for the gifts God has placed within each of them.
We hold our Year 12 students especially in our prayers as they undertake their HSC examinations. Their dedication, courage, and resilience have been deeply inspiring, and we ask God’s blessing upon them as they complete their final chapter at the College and prepare to step confidently into the next stage of their lives.
Our Year 11 students also enter an important new phase as they commence their Year 12 studies and begin to assume the mantle of senior leadership. We look forward to witnessing their growth and the positive influence they will bring to our community in the year ahead.
This term will no doubt be filled with moments of joy, reflection, and celebration — opportunities to give thanks for the year that has been and to recognise God’s abundant grace in our shared journey.
As always, I am deeply grateful for the partnership and trust of our parents and carers. Together, we continue to nurture young people who are compassionate, grounded in faith, and ready to serve the world with wisdom and love.
May this term be one of joy, growth, and gratitude for every member of our College community.
Warm regards,
